Souls covered with dust
pensive for purified
solitary in time,
gray sky above remains
a hazy trail from path
human spirits desperate
with a knowledge for a absence
No source of life in the
internal struggle in the desert.
Bethlehem to raise us up
from earth to heaven
Bethlehem the source
of life in the desert
Bethlehem oasis
within the desert souls
Obtained boldness
for the souls cleared
from dust of the unknown,
fear, pain, separation
solitary minds the wind
in the gray sky
showed the narrow bright path
from Bethlehem
to the New Jerusalem

I generally loathe overhyped/ pop versions of Christmas carols. I really love carols when they are done well (usually that means 'heavy'). :)
O Come Emmanuel is a great track. A lovely brutal Christmas track for my collection. I love it! Thanks BT. Matthew Skipworth

This entire album -as ALL of their albums - is fantastic epic doom metal. But the final track I would consider the epitome of their sound: bone crushing, spine-tingling, giant-sounding metal. This may be my favorite track of their entire catalog. So if you need a starting point, 'Militus Fidelis Deus' would be it. \m/ Hoyt Parris
